Welcome to Once Upon A Dollar! I am so glad you stopped by and can’t wait to start working from home with you! I am sure by now you have figured out that there are a ton of “work at home opportunities” out there. Some are legit. Some are not. I would like to introduce you to a few of the honest to goodness legit opportunities available to you.
I learned long ago never to put all my eggs in one basket… and from that lesson I made the decision to participate in several different work at home opportunities and you can too, as long as you play by each companies rules, and don’t over extend yourself (mentally OR financially!). Another reason I have chosen multiple companies is that it gives me the ability to appeal to different people. If I sold chocolates, do you think I would get very far with a diabetic or someone who is allergic to it or dieting? Probably not, but if I also sold books they might find something they like. A broad horizon leaves you many opportunities for success!
One thing that I want to make very clear to you as you wander through this site is that I am NOT an employee of ANY of the companies I discuss. I am an Independent Representative, Contractor or Consultant. I work for myself and earn commissions for helping others to do the same. There is no time clock. I have no boss. I have no salary nor do I have an hourly wage. My earnings are solely based upon my time and my effort and my ability to share these opportunities with others. I can not and will not make any guarantees of income to you as what YOU make will depend solely upon YOUR time and YOUR effort and YOUR ability to do the same.
If you think you can just sign up and watch the money flow you’re in the wrong place and also in dreamland. I can tell you right now that anyone that says “we build the downline for you” is full of rotten beans. Anyone that says “you can make hundreds per day” and is advertising on Craigslist or wherever is merely trying to trick people into signing up for their scheme, because the scheme can’t carry it’s own weight and there’s no other way to convince people to join. And yes… it’s a scheme. Not a real business.
Seriously. Before you look any further… sit back and THINK ABOUT IT. If I had someone doing everything for me, earning me hundreds per day…. would I REALLY be wasting my time on the free classified sites? Heck no! I’d be cruising the Caribbean! And so would everyone else because if everyone could just sit back and let someone else build the downline…. hmmm…wait… that doesn’t leave anyone to build the downline… See the flaw? No work = No money. Period. (at least not legally)
